I've been to this dealership a couple of times and it's been great! Today was the first time that I had any issues, but my friend Ben who works there helped get the situation fix and had me out of there as quickly as possible. So I highly recommend ben if anyone wants to get things done fast and correct!

Normally this place is pretty good about their service. This time, not so much. I went in for a recall on the ABS system and I was told this would only take an hour. Since it wasn't that long of a wait, I stayed at the dealership. Within the hour my car was pulled through the que and into one of the bays. After about an hour and a half my car was back in the que. So at this point i asked questions and was told by another rep that the car was waiting on the diagnostics to come back. About 30 minutes later my initial rep told me i need to get the Downhill assist/ABS/Traction Control Sensor replaced and the reason this took so long is that everyone went to lunch at the same time. Thanks for telling me! The repair took another 45 minutes to complete. So from what was to be 1 hour turned into 4 hours!!! Skipped lunch and had to take a half day off work.

Had my Equus serviced here. I really appreciate the customer service, very professional and knowledgeable. The only thing is service took over 3 hrs long. I had an oil change done. My understanding was they were short so I was patient and return to have my car serviced

I had the best experience with Autonation Hyundai Mall of Georgia. I had a hard time trying to find a 22 Tucson Hybrid, my sales rep Kiara reached out to me when they had one on the way and 2 weeks later, I received my car!! Kiara was phenomenal!! I brought my car for servicing for a basic oil change, slow tire air leak on right side tire, clunking rattling noise at the bottom of the car. I was told the bottom of my car there was something that just needed to be tightened - gravel or something may have caused the problem? I was then told that I needed new tires because there was tire rot but last service, approx. 4,000 miles ago, my tires were inspected and I was told were okay and no tire leaks. I was told during this recent service visit, my air leak was from tire rot and they recommended replacing my tires. I trusted the dealership and decided to have new tires installed. I waited 3 to 4 hours to be told that somebody else skipped in front of me so there was a delay in having my tires installed. I could not wait any longer so had to pick up my car the next day. When I picked up my car the next day, the clunking noise was still there and now I have to take it back. I don't think the mechanic even took out my car for a test drive to determine where the clunking/rattling noise was coming from. I do not recommend this dealership for repairs or servicing. The mechanics lost my trust and confidence. I’ve been taking my car to Hyundai for 11 years now to the same service/repair shop and I am very dissatisfied with the service that I received. I think next time, I will consider taking my car to a Jiffy Lube, Discount Tire or other place. Overall, the quality of service is not what it used to be. I will be in the market to purchase a new car soon, and will look at other car dealerships like Honda, Toyota, etc. On a positive note, Aimee the service manager was friendly and gave me a loaner car while my car was still in the shop.

If you are looking for a convenient dealership to purchase a new car this is not the place for you. Our sales rep Stephanie was great, however, every other aspect of the purchasing process was terrible. It has been 2 months since I purchased my new vehicle and they have not even processed a new license plate for my vehicle and I was only able to renew my temporary plate once.

Honestly I am very disappointed in my experiences with the service department. It is impossible to speak to someone over the phone when you call. I’ve left messages for someone to call me that have never been returned. I tried to make an apt through the blue link app which doesn’t work. I had to use the live chat option to make my appointment. The day I went, I had a 7:30am apt for an oil change and didn’t leave until 10:00am because they only had one person doing oil changes that day. It seems very under staffed and unorganized. I only use them because the services are free with the purchase of my car.

THEY SELL CARS ILLEGALLY AND TRY TO BULLY YOU INTO ACCEPTING THEIR BS. Two of my friends bought a car from these scam artists last year. They sold the vehicle without a title, feeding them the lie that it was in transit. After 4 MONTHS of not being able to furnish a title, my friends were forced to leave the car there because it was illegal to drive. The GM of the dealership then proceeded to yell at them, tried to gaslight them into thinking they were wrong, and that it was a "misconception" that a dealership couldn't sell a car without a title. This was confirmed as an outright lie by 3 different consumer fraud lawyers. The GM then offered to print a new dealer tag (very illegal) so they could avoid voiding the sale. On top of that the dealership harassed my friends, threatening to tow the car back to their place, despite the fact that legally the car still belonged to the dealership. My friends wound up filing complaints with the state of Georgia as well as having to hire a lawyer to threaten a lawsuit to these cons to get them to void the sale and refund the down payment. Do not risk them pulling the wool over your eyes. You can buy a car from less greedy people than the ones at Autonation Hyundai.

I sent an inquiry on a used vehicle and got an immediate email response from Elizabeth. We spoke on the phone and she had the sales manager, Esad, quote me the drive out price of the vehicle. I received it quickly. It was more than I was willing to pay and I am 60 miles away from the dealership. Esad called and told me if I make the drive, he would make it happen. I was immediately greeted by Esad and Elizabeth, took the vehicle for a test drive and liked it. They kept their word and made the deal happen. It was quick and painless. Jae, in finance, completed the paperwork quickly. I was in and out in no time. I highly recommend this dealership. Thanks Elizabeth, Esad and Sae!

They have improved. This is a long story. I’ve owned many cars, and visited many service departments, but this place operates in the most peculiar fashion that I’ve experienced. I had to go there twice—for the same thing within a few weeks. Instead of replacing a slow-leak tire, they plugged it efficiently, which meant I had to go right back to get an actual tire replacement! On each visit, no one greeted me or told me the process, so I was left wondering do I sit in my car or do I get out and approach one of the employees standing at their workstation, all of whom acted like they didn’t see me drive up. After sitting in my car for a few minutes, both times, as soon as I stepped out of the car, one of the employees came over and tells me to wait in the car. When they finally do come to greet/help me, they are very friendly. Now the most frustrating part of the process was making the service appointment. I called to make a service appointment to replace my tire, and I had to be transferred to Parts to order my own tire. The guy (Nick) in Parts from the beginning seemed bothered by my call, and even more bothered when I did not know the tire size. After he looked up my car info, he had to transferred me back, because, as he explained, Parts can’t order the tire unless I have an appointment and they must sent authorization. So after I’m transferred back to make the appointment, they tell me they can’t make the appointment if they don’t know what time the tire is going to arrive. IT’S CRAZY. A customer shouldn’t have to go back-and-forth between making an appointment and ordering Parts. I decided to just made a random late-morning appointment, and call early the next say to see if I needed to reschedule. Maybe by then they would’ve ordered the tire and had some idea of its arrival time. Early the next morning, once again, I was transferred to Parts and this time got a friendlier agent (Bryan), who said they would call me back with a tire arrival time. Well, that didn’t happens, so called them back 30 minutes before my schedule appointment, and again, I was transferred to the Parts—I got Nick again—who still seemed bothered—but at least he gave a general “lunchtime” arrival for the tire, so I rescheduled to a late afternoon appointment. Once I arrived, it took them 3 hours to replace 1 tire! I have never had to order my own parts, or go back-and-forth between a service appointment maker and the Parts Department. I’m just wondering what’s going to happen when it’s time for my regular oil change and scheduled maintenance. Will I have to order oil, oil, and air filters? They need a new system/process

I have had a hard time getting and appointment for repairs for this brand of vehicle, for the sake of time Iwill save the deauls. Additionally the time it took to do my repairs was longer than same day two or three hours the repair consultant had informed me. It took 3 days! I had lined up a rental car just in case at my own expense because they either don't do loaners or didn't have any available. I was told by my service consultant that he would keep me informed on updates. I made about 5 calls to him after his speculated time had passed and wasn't able to reach. When we finally did communicate I was informed the total for my repairs would be $3500 and neither will be cover under manufacturs warranty or extended warranty. A surprise and a bit sickening since the the car has about 36,000 miles on it, and I always here 100,000 mile warranty hype when they are trying to close a sale.... lesson learned READ THE FINE PRINT. At the checkout after all the repairs are made, the estimate was higher than the $3500, the service tech consultant didn't offer and apology or explain the higher price nor attempted to make things better. He seemed more concerned with getting my payment and having me sign before he could even talk to me. Disappointed 😞

I sold my car to this place and genuinely think they had no intention of paying for it. It took over a month to get a check and until then they gave me nothing but lies, never even provided so much as a (true) status update on when I’d be paid. For a couple weeks they gave excuses like “we lost the title” (they didn’t) and “you didn’t fill out the paperwork” (we did) and said “we’ll call you back” (never did) and eventually they just stopped answering the phone when I called. I felt so bad about going full Karen, and I was super civil and polite each time, but now I think maybe that’s part of the reason they didn’t take me seriously. Ironically, their own hold music plays a message about if you sell your car to them you’ll get paid today. Last week out of desperation I had to threaten to get a lawyer, they told me “you’ll get it today” and it STILL took another three days. Despite almost daily follow up, there was always a new complication and a new reason why they couldn’t pay for the car we’d signed over everything to. I feel so stupid for trusting this company and assuming they would act in good faith. I didn’t even wanna post a review until the check cleared because I thought they might cancel it in retaliation. Oh yeah, also - I made three trips to this place to ostensibly pick up the check and was turned away each time after waiting there for awhile. I mean really I can’t even blame them, they definitely found a sucker here — it’s not like they’d let me walk off the lot with a car for free, so why was I so willing to let them take mine? Never again.

I am usually very wary of mechanics that service my car. With that begin the case my car’s (Hyundai Sonata 2019) check engine light came on and put my car into a fail safe mode which limited my car’s abilities. When I brought it to the dealer at AutoNation Mall Of Georgia Hyundai they kept the vehicle overnight to tell me that it require a software update to repair it. However after I recovered the car the engine now had a rattling noise that was really pronounced when the car was either idling and/or in motion. Come to find out there was a oil leak that was present which is when I immediately brought it back to AutoNation. Where they told me that now it needed a crankshaft seal to be fixed along with a replacement of belts and another oil change which they told me part of the repair would be “covered” by the warranty but the belts and oil change wouldn’t be. They claimed to fix it completely it would cost me around $600+ dollars to repair, despite happening under the “experts” there. I will not be going back there to be over charged and under serviced there.

Today about a week passed since I dropped my vehicle for service, and they never gave me update about status of vehicle under repair. Plus, no one answered every time I call Service Department or replied to my voice messages I left several times at all. I had to visit the shop last Friday (4/15) and they said it will be done by end of Friday, and they did not even call or email me at all until today. Very frustrating experience!!!

I will never visit this facility again! The shop received my car on 3/18. The person who was handling my car did not work Thursday-Sunday so when calling on those days, nobody could answer my questions. After almost 2 weeks of having my vehicle, I physically had to go up to the repair shop in order to get some answers. On 4/4, The service worker told me that they were too busy to get to my car that week. Later that afternoon, there was a conference call between that associate, my StateFarm agent, StateFarm claims and myself. The question was asked as to what the hold up was and the repair shop said that they needed to know who was paying for the repairs. I replied that money was not an issue. The service worker then stated that if money was not a problem then they would be able to work on my car first thing in the morning. Why did it matter who was paying for the repairs? Either way, it would have to be paid for before I could receive my car back. And why were they too busy to do my car, but now all of a sudden they can do it first thing in the morning?

This is the most difficult dealership I’ve ever had to deal with. You can NEVER call and get anyone in the service department on the phone. I cringe when I know it’s time for an oil change or a any other service, because I know first off it will take me forever to get ahold of anyone and second cause you cannot go for even a simple oil change without it taking 2 hours at least. I got a alignment done and when I left it was still riding the same my back left side was still shaking. So I went to a tire place and told them about it and then they took my tire off and saw that the inside of my tire was bald and warped and had three bubbles and told me I was lucky and that they shouldn't have done a alignment with my tire like. And Hyundai didn't even tell me about that. I could of wreck my car because of that. So I will never go to them again.

I bought a used car in november 2021, after purchasing the car i realized the touch screen radio was not working. It took me reaching out for months to get a new radio installed. 4 months to be exact. Please actually do full car assessments and requests from the client. The advisor said car all set and mentioned everything they did and I said oh did you change the back brake light, it was out. He said let’s go check. When I hit the brake he said no it’s out still and changed it for me. I thought you guys do full assessments but I guess not. Also they didn’t fix my monitor tech issue. As soon as I drove off it turned off multiple times.. the advisor was professional and nice but the actual ones who did the labor on my car did not do well hence the 3 stars.

We will never go there again, nor will we ever buy another Hyundai. Our fathers 2017 Santa Fe Ultima threw a bolt through the valve cover and we had it towed to AutoNation because we were assured it was a known problem likely to be under warranty. The original owner (my father in law) died two weeks earlier and towards the end, he spent more time with us. For tax purposes, we constructed a lease, but he still owned it until he died. Hyundai declared us (his estate) as the second owner and lowered the warranty coverage from 100K to 60K. We were also told we would have to authorize a teardown for $1,500 for Hyundai to determine the full extent of the damage. We were then informed that catastrophic damage required the installation of a replacement used engine for between $16,500 and $22,000 dollars. When we had it towed elsewhere, we were advised that there was no evidence of a teardown and that the diagnosis could have been accomplished by removing the oil pan. all of this took 5 weeks. We intend to explore our legal remedies against Hyundai for the warranty and against the dealer (in small claims) for the unnecessary charge for diagonis.

I had watched several youtube videos on the car to see if it had all of the feature that I wanted and he was able to show me some that the reviewers missed! Work is not completed yet, the display monitor have not been replaced yet. They were supposed to call me but it’s been 10 days and I haven’t received any call yet from Auto Nation. Even when I left my car for servicing 3 weeks ago they didn’t call I had to call them in the evening if it is done or not.

The only bad thing was they did told me that the car was going to be taken to the shop and get the body fix. This however was not done at all and in was not until I went to go pick it up that this was even reported to me.

Went in for a recall in my Sonata and was pleasantly surprised with how quickly it was resolved. The dealership was under construction, but the customer waiting area was still comfortable and offered complimentary beverages and snacks. This was a little further from my normal dealership, but I would choose to go the extra 15 minutes to visit this AutoNation location again.

Let me start by saying that previously I have always had very good experiences with Hyundai Mall of Georgia both in sales and service. However, my most recent experience on 03/16/22 was not a good one. First, in order to make this appointment I had to physically go to the Hyundai service department because the website scheduling feature was not working properly and I could not get anyone to answer the phone in the service department after numerous attempts over multiple days. I even left a message at one point but never received a call back. I dropped my car off at 7:30 in the morning for the 35,000 mile maintenance. I was notified around 11:00 via text that the maintenance was completed but that I needed new tires. I gave permission to complete the tire replacement and was told me car would be ready around 3:00. At 3:30 I reached out and was told it would be around 5:30. At 6:00 I reached out again and expressed how important it was that I receive my car back before they closed at 7:00. I was told that it would be ready by 6:30. I finally received my car back at 6:30 after dropping it off 11 hours earlier. There was no explanation or apology for the delay. I really hope this was an isolated incident of poor service as I have come to expect better service from Hyundai.

I had purchased a car from this location before, about 7 years ago and was not impressed! So, I was a little hesitant. However, my husband and I decided to try them out because they had the exact minivan we were looking for! I will say I was really happy to have Grace in Sales helping us, she was great! All the other staff were nice and helpful as well! One even taught me how to use their spaceship coffee maker 😂 We ended up leaving without the car the first day and then came back the next day to purchase our “new to us” Honda Odyssey. We also traded in our older van and we’re happy with the value they gave. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend you go see Grace for your next vehicle! :)

Had an appointment for 9am to have a day time running light fixed on a 1 month old 2022 Palisade Calligraphy. Even though there was an appointment the service department did not get to the car till 12:34 and did not get the car back till after 3 pm with the light still not fixed. Need to order a new light. Over 6 hours to be told we have to come back. Was not impressed by the service we received. Why make appointments if the appointment is not going to be honored.

I bought my vehicle with them, and the next day I had problems with the screen. I took him to service and they kept him there for a whole day, I called more than 20 times and no one ever answered the calls. I wrote to the person who sold me the vehicle and he did not respond either. I went the next day to see what was going on and they hadn't even checked it. I decided to get him out of there and take him somewhere else. I do not recommend that you buy your vehicle there.

This place was a hour and 20 mins. from my house but well worth the drive. Yes it was an all day event however with the supply issues going on these days they had cars on the lot to show and the price listed was the price no hidden up charge. We had the pleasure of meeting Esad he helped us out above and beyond what a great person to work with. The used car we got had some cosmetic damage the hatchback latch and tail light which both got replaced. I hd some concerns buying a used car however Esad had the car checked out at there service department they found no issues I was able to bring the car to my mechanic to confirm the same with the promise if my mechanic found anything wrong they would take the car back. Thankfully the car got a clean bill of health and my son is a happy camper and I fell confident he is driving a safe and solid car. Update: My husband called the general manager as instructed by the reply and did not get a response back nearly a week later after being instructed to leave a message. We were very disappointed in our experience with this dealer. After we signed the purchase agreement, we were informed that we would not be able to take delivery of the car on the same day despite being assured we would be able to take it and have it repaired at a later date. In addition to being told that the windshield needed repaired, we were told that they would also be handling an open recall on our vehicle before we returned to pick it up. Since they were already going to be repairing the windshield and addressing the recall, they were going to add the hitch per our agreement at the same time. Since we could not take our vehicle home after signing paperwork agreeing to take delivery of it on the same day, we had to keep our rental vehicle longer than what our insurance would cover. We were assured that they would reimburse our extra time with the rental vehicle after we FINALLY were able to pick up our vehicle and we gave them a copy of the additional charges. Shortly after we finally got our car, we checked the vin and the recall was never repaired as we were told it would be. In addition to that, we were also owed a 2nd key that was not made at the time that we got the car. We were told that we would need to be there at a very limited window on a specific day of the week to have one made and, despite many attempts at reaching out to our sales associated to arrange having the key made, we STILL have not been able to get the 2nd key we were promised. The recall was also never mentioned to us as not being repaired after we picked up our vehicle. We never received the reimbursement we were promised for our rental extension either. We truly feel taken advantage of by this dealer and would have loved to give them the opportunity to make all of this right before sharing our experience publicly.

AutoNation Hyundai was the third Hyundai location I went to and where I finally got my car. I was shopping for the 2022 Tucson White color SE Convenience package for a specific vehicle, and that was the only vehicle I wanted, no other. Duluth branch didn't have the particular car and level I wanted and kept suggesting to buy gray color (I guess that was the least popular color of the model), so I moved on to the Roswell branch. The dealer at Roswell was very disrespectful, so I was upset and called AutoNation. Justin, the dealer, was very quick and friendly. He figured out the problem quickly and provided the information I needed. I thought I had to visit the branch, but he helped me deposit over the phone, so the deposit process was done in a minute. He followed up several times over the text to keep me updated about the car. When I got to AutoNation to pick up my vehicle, Justin had already prepared all the paperwork, so the overall process was quick and easy. The financial officer was very friendly too. Thank you :)

While the process is good for scheduling an appointment, the actual work that should have been done was not done. We had a schedule for an oil change and a tire rotation. While the oil change was done (as far as I can tell), the tire rotation was NOT done. I measured the wear bars on the tires before the appointment, and saw the tires had not been rotated. Edit to the original post: AutoNation Hyundai Mall of Georgia made things right - they called and saw us on our time-table, rotated the tires and provided a free auto-detailing for our trouble. Glad to see customer service still exists!

Very good experience, came in for a diagnostic inspection and oil change since I had recently bought my Santa fe used from elsewhere, they did it timely and didnt overcharge me for unnecessary reasons. Only complaint is I asked to get a price on a spare tire and didnt get that. I was even able to get quoted on an extended warranty before I left, I will come back!

Took brand new 2021 Santafe 2021 for the first complementary oil change with tire rotation nov2021 left them then realized that they didn’t do the tire rotation then I called them back they said bring the car back which is I did it then they finished the job and then at home found a scratch on the driver side which was there before called them service manager he seems that will take care of me sent him some pictures didn’t care about it. Went on dec 2021 for some squeaking noises coming from the rear seats and horn is not working properly went there 9:45 am and left by shuttle service, till 2pm nothing then I started to call to check on the status they told me service guy is out for launch till 4:12 kept calling untype called me back say let me check to see what is the status really? Did not want to send me back a shuttle and they said the driver left for the day, after arguing with them the service rep came to pick me up and the car didn’t even looked at, made a complaint to BBB then got their attention by GM calling me to schedule an appointment and he promised he will take care of these issues. Went there got a loaner (with limited miles per day) vehicle spent a full week there only they took care of the scratch and made another on the trunk which is I showed to the GM and went test drive with him heared some noises and he said that is from the leather because it’s brand new and advised me to buy a leather conditioner for it. Horn is not been done he said there is a part ordered for it, door handle loose he said that is normal, squeaking noise and rattling noise still there. I give them 2 star because only the GM trying to help but nothing major really has been taken care of.

This place has gone so downhill. Not only do I have a horror story of an experience with buying a used car with 4k worth of engine and transmission work that was there when we bought it. Then, I have an appointment for an oil change last week at 1pm that was made a month ago and at 5pm I call to check and they tell me it will be ready by the time we close at 7. That's unacceptable.

This service department is rude, crass and won’t honor the Autonation Gold extended warranty we purchased with our vehicle. The first time we came to them, we made the appointment and told them about our extended warranty but when we got to the dealership we were told it was $2,000 just for a diagnostic and the diagnostic would take 3-5 days. We went to the dealership about an A/C hose. That was last summer. Today we needed to have another issue looked at, called to set up the appointment and a tow and was told it was 7-8 weeks for them to diagnose and to bring proof of all of our oil changes and work done before they would look into the extended warranty. First, don’t buy from Autonation, second dont buy an Autonation extended warranty because their own dealerships won’t honor it and third don’t bring it to this dealership for service work unless you are only paying cash because they won’t even look into their own company extended warranty. No customer service at all, I’m willing to take our car to another dealership and pay the higher deductible because it’s not an Autonation dealer to not deal with this dealership.

This is what he first time I give them a 3 star. I have always given them a 5:star. The reason behind this 3 star is when we went to pick up car that evening, it was this past Saturday after the service department closed, 3 out of 4 tires were at a 28 or less. That has never happened. I don't know if they didn't check the pressure whem they did the multi point inspection or what, but I had to find my husband to meet me and put air on my tires. Thank God he wasn't too far ahead of me. He wasn't happy and neither was I. This has never happened before. Also there was supposed to have been a quote in my car for tires and back brakes but didn't see one. That's it

Service Friday, Jan 28. Vehicle was there 8 hours as anticipated. Service underwriter was very helpful. I think it was John. It was a very cold day and I believe my car was used by mechanics to help stay warm! I filled tank on Thursday evening so it was full. When I picked up car, both seats were FULLY reclined and heat was on 85 and mode had been changed. It was down by quarter tank. No reason seats should have been reclined. When I realized what I suspect happened, I walked back inside and waited 10 minutes. There was ZERO visibility of staff. No underwriters. I left

I was able to drop off my vehicle and given a shuttle home so they could work on the car as long as necessary. At the end of December I bought a certified preowned vehicle. It had a crack in the windshield but Ivan and Peter assured me they would replace it free of charge. When the part came in I would be called and schedule an appt to get it replaced. After 3 weeks and not hearing from anyone, I notified Peter I haven’t heard anything. He told me he would check into it and get back to me, which he never did. Finally I called the service department, let them know that I had a voucher to replace the windshield and needed to schedule an appt, because the crack was getting bigger. The young lady I spoke with put me on hold several times because she has know idea what I was talking about. Finally after 20 minutes she picked up and scheduled me for Wednesday to drop my car off in the morning. I explained I lived in Athens and would wait there. Today I arrive and can hear the service manager trying to figure out why they are replacing my windshield for free. This is after I’ve been here for an hour. I asked him if there was a problem and he said not anymore they just had to figure out why it was scheduled and who promised the windshield, but it’s all sorted now. Then he tells me that a glass repair technician is coming to fix it but they don’t know when he will be here. It could be noon and then it will take 4 hours. SO WHY DID YOU MAKE ME A MORNING APPOINTMENT? His reply was I don’t know, no apology nothing. I will never ever come back here, and in the future I will have repairs done first before I take a vehicle home. Total unprofessional garbage.

Being Pre Appoved by our bank to buy a car, we test drove the Palisade and was able to be in and out driving away with the exact SUV I wanted, only 2 hours of arriving to the dealership. My experience here was decent. They didn't beat around the bush and my salesman was pretty responsive. Only giving 3 stars because optional items were added on under the guise of being required. Also, in attempting to clarify this, the salesman was a bit rude to me. This is an awful market for the buyer, there's no leverage or flexibility - definitely the worst time to buy a new car. However, I will say, the car is beautiful. Overall, minus the cost, it was a good experience.

Changing from 2-star to a 1-star review. They replied with the "GM"s number but it was just a generic number from Hyundai with a robot on the other line. No other response has been made to me about this. They issue a recall on an airbag and don't provide it. Nice. Guess they are fine with dead people _______________________________________________________ Got a recall notice on the mail early November and promptly scheduled an appointment to get it fixed. Dropped the car off and was told it was gonna be fixed in a few hours. Get a call that the part’s not in yet and we can either leave the car there or pick it up. Decide to leave the car there because how long could it take, right? A week and a half later, I call and the part still hasn’t arrived. So we go pick the car up, and they say they’ll call when the part gets there. No call yet after a month since the recall letter. Then I get an email to leave a review. I wasn’t going to but since you guys insist, here it is. To be clear, this dealership didn’t do much wrong - corporate just needs to, you know, have the part ready if they are gonna issue a recall letter, I don’t know. Might be a smart thing to consider.

We went in on a Sunday and a sales manager named Louis Dymant met with us for a test drive. He could not have been more professional. He was matter of fact; very knowledgeable; listened to all of our questions; and explained the current car market. He indicated a lot of dealers were doing huge add on fees because of the supply shortage. He explained how his dealership did not do that and would not take advantage of people by jacking up prices in a sellers market. When we didn't have the color car we wanted, he searched the whole state. He even offered to drive to Columbus 2 1/2 hours away at 5am to get a car for us. I was looking all over the internet as well and found what he told us was 100% true. A car would be advertised at a certain price and when I spoke to the dealer they said well we have this several thousand dollar fee add-on. They called them freight fees, finder's fees, dealer add-on fees, etc. In the end he found the car we wanted and the price was 3K less than any other dealer for the same car. He did not need our business and did not have to go the extra mile. He did it anyway. I am grateful we found him and we love the car. He called after. few days just to check in and I told him what a great job he did. Thank you Louis for what was a difficult process.

The salesman, Lou was engaging, helpful and was a pleasure to work with. Despite the fact that Hyundai and other brands with high demand cars are price gouging in the guise of a 'market adjustment, we bought the car anyway because the Palisade appears to be the real deal and it seems to be the best car in its class at this time. The finance close was a totally different experience. The continued high pressure once we repeatedly said no was highly irritating. We finally accepted the Extended Warranty so we could leave after having waited over 2 hours to see the Finance guy. There was also a charge for Appearance Protection and Dent protection that the dealer said was not optional and had to be paid in order to buy the car. However, the paperwork they gave us afterwards says different. When I called to cancel these two products, I was told it was not cancellable though the paperwork says different. If this is how AutoNation rolls, mark and avoid. Lou should find a place to work that has more integrity.

I want to start by saying Aimee was the best service representative I've ever worked with! This was my first time at a dealership for repair since I've always had old cars and I was very pleased with the whole experience. I had a long repair job due to diagnosis and parts delivery, but Aimee always kept me in the loop with the process with constant updates. I never needed to ask about my status, which provided excellent piece of mind. At most repair shops I find this communication to be the hardest part of any experience and Aimee knocked it out of the park! Justin the service manager even took the time to make sure my experience was pleasant and all my questions and concerned were answered when I picked my car up.

I called this dealer on Monday 1/10/22 to schedule an appointment for service to get 3 recalls addressed as well as a couple of other issues. The receptionist transferred me to the service department and the phone rang and rang and gave me a personal voicemail. I hung up and called back because I thought the receptionist sent me to this person by mistake. She sent me to the same voicemail. I left a voicemail with this person (Jonathan) and asked him to call me back in order to schedule a service appointment. I called back a third time and asked the receptionist to actually connect me with a person so I could get this taken care of. I asked her if there was anyone working in the service department and she said that there is but they have a lot of people out sick. She told me to leave a voicemail and someone would call me back. She sent me to another gentleman’s voicemail and I left another message. It’s now Friday 1/14/22 and I have not received a call back. I’ve already taken my business elsewhere, but beware if you are trying to get any type of service done here!

The team of people here are super courteous and helpful. I was here last year with both of my children (2 separate occasions) as they bought their first cars in their name. They did everything they could to assist them in finding the vehicle they wanted within their budgeted monthly spending. (I did nothing to assist. They treated the kids with kindness and fairness). First I went to Rick case Hyundai at satellite blvd since it was the closest to my house. My lease was about to end and I wanted to purchase my leased vehicle, after 15min of talking and saying that they could do it I was literally told to go somewhere else because their manager said no. Then I went to autonation Hyundai mall of GA and as soon as I stepped out of my car a lady from sales (that was already busy with another customer) offered me help and welcomed me to the dealer. Since she was busy I was waiting and another person from sales approached me (Willie) who is such a nice person and salesman. He helped me right away and took all the necessary steps to complete this process (all while taking care of his other tasks) then Willie took me with Robert from financing who was so helpful and really took good care of me and found the best possible deal for me. I have had bad experiences at other AutoNation locations and I hoped this one would be different, but I was wrong. I brought my car in to be serviced and was very disappointed. There was little communication with me, they moved my seat to a very different position and didn't even attempt to move it back, and they left fingerprint smudges on my air vents and steering wheel. What truly caused me to rate this place one star was the fact that this location 100% tried to take advantage of me and rip me off. I brought my car in to have 4 simple things done (total cost would've been around $500) and they ended up recommending I have numerous additional things repaired which would bring my total to $3,800. One recommendation was to have my spark plugs replaced and after asking why they needed to be replaced for the second time, they said "because of your mileage". I ended up having 5 things done then took my car to a different shop. According to the other shop, AutoNation lied to me about what was busted or broken and I quickly realized their "recommendations" were only based off of mileage and they didn't even check to see if the repairs actually needed to be made. My spark plugs didn't need to be replaced due to mileage. They needed to be replaced because oil was leaking into them. I saved over $3,000 by going somewhere else and was overcharged for what I did have done at AutoNation. I would never go back to this location (or any AutoNation Hyundai) for any reason nor would I reccomend anyone else go there. I am absolutely shocked and disgusted at how this place does business.

Took my Palisades in for the first service. I made an appointment online which took almost two weeks to get an appointment. My appointment was for 12:30 and drive out of dealerships at 3:40. 3 hours for a 30 minute oil change. That is ridiculous. The service manager needs to figure out how to manage the service schedule.

Took my 2020 Hyundai sonata in for my first warranty oil change. Ben Petit was my advisor. He was super professional and courteous the entire process. When my oil change was finished, he told me that there was a recall on my car and they went ahead and fixed it for me, AND also did a system software update on it to! I had no idea about either of those! I’m glad Ben was able to take care of everything for me in a professional and timely manner. Typically I dread going to a dealership and hate the car buying process, but this experience was very different. We live in Florida and I found the vehicle listing online. I reached out about it and communicated via phone and text with Jodi. She was super responsive and helpful sending me additional photos of the car and the carfax report. I was blown away that we had the entire transaction almost completed via text by the time we arrived at the dealership in Buford. The car was immaculate and exactly as represented in the listing. The buying process was super easy and thankfully very low-pressure. We were in and out in a little over an hour. I had to bring my car back several time for the same issue and they let the car sit for over a month before getting the permission from the manufacturer to replace the transmission. I am now having the same issue with the NEW transmission and Justin, the new service supervisor, was nasty because I brought my car to them with low gas in the tank. I brought the car in as is because it was stalling on the road and I didn't want to get stuck in the middle of the street. They only test drove it for 8 miles and told me they saw nothing wrong. This is the same thing that happened before the transmission needed to be replaced and I felt that they should have tried to keep the car longer to replicate the problem. They were too anxious to get the car off the lot because they weren't making money on a car with "no problems". They were begging customers to come in during the start of the pandemic and now that business has improved, customer service is worse than ever. Bring your patience if you go service there!

I brought my Elantra in for a simple oil change and next thing I know is that they need to keep it overnight for some computer update. I tried reaching out to the service department the following Monday by phone, text and chat. The person in chat was short and rude by saying call the number, which I did twice and got nowhere. It wasn’t until late in the day, around 2 pm when I actually spoke to a live person. He says he will call me right back, but that callback came 90 minutes later. Whatever this computer update did, affected the digital read-out of my speed, which I like to see in front of me when aim not using cruise control. Now I have to move my left arm to look at the speedometer and guess my speed.

They sold me a car that they lied about replacing tires and performing maintenance on. My previous review they responded and said to call their GM. I've actually left 7 messages and no one will call me back. They ripped me off and lied at every turn. Now I get to spend my time exploring any legal options. Unreal. Trash people. Avoid at all costs.

They sold me a lemon and lied at every turn. Called a month and 400 miles later and was treated like crap and ignored. $14k I'm on the hook with a piece of crap car. One month later!!! They lied about replacing the tires and required maintence before they sold me the car. They when I complained I was treated like garbage and ignored. The picture I posted on my Google review shows the car missing a headlight- in their parking lot!!! Then they let me drive away, happy to let me pay $1500 over Blue Book!!! Trash people!!!

I very much enjoyed my car buying experience at the dealership last year. The saleslady was professional and helpful and I felt very comfortable all along the way. Service is quite another story. I have had my car serviced at this dealership 3 times since purchase. It just keeps getting worse and worse. You have to make an appointment which takes almost 2 weeks. You arrive for your appointment and still have to wait over 2 hours for an oil change! This is totally ridiculous in my opinion. What is the use of having an appointment if you are going to have to wait that long for something so simple. They need to hire some more people or figure out a way to deliver a better experience to their customers. I previously had a Toyota that was serviced next door and never had those types of wait times to get an appointment or have service completed. Very disappointed.

Had an issue with a "Check Engine". Something about a problem with the fuel system. It was there for two days and the reason was never determined. Hopefully, it was an isolated occurrence. I was very pleased that they offered a shuttle service to and from my home.

I purchased a car from this dealership. Be careful, there was a promised item that was not delivered. The staffs have a written promise “we owe” sheet but never we delivered. In addition they will not return calls. I guess they got the sale, maybe that’s all they care about. I hope this is not an indication on how the warranty will work.

Very bad experience with this dealership. Had a car all lined up and ready to buy.... get to signing papers and they were going to leave off the 3 year maintenance warranty because they said they had already discounted the car so much. This was a service loaner vehicle. Refused to add the warranty even though it was advertised as such. Walked out. Talking to another Hyundai dealer they said it sounds like they messed up on pricing and tried to make me leave. Warranties are provided by Hyundai at no cost to the dealer, and any Hyundai under 5,000 miles and not registered to any owner should retain all manufacturers warranties. I would beware of this place and their tactics. Update with response from the GM. I understand what they are saying, what I don’t understand is why they would advertise this vehicle as including the maintenance warranty when they didn’t plan on including it. The advertisement for the vehicle price, features, and benefits is the sole reason I responded to them, lol. Why advertise something and then try to change it after commitment?!? The manager said they are the highest volume dealer in the state and they stay busy and so things can get complicated.... like okay that’s great and all, but it’s kind of like diminishing return. You can be so busy and high volume, but at some point if you don’t make adjustments to accommodate that volume, you are invariably going to lose customers and lose trust. Your service has to be at a level the matches the volume, otherwise it’s disingenuous. I would not recommend this dealer simply based off of their response being they are busy and can’t handle it.

My mother purchased her car here new. It’s a 2017 sonata. Within the first year the paint started to peel. They claimed it was normal road wear and would not honor warranty. 4 years later and this is now what the car looks like despite it’s always been garaged. We will not purchase from them again as they do not stand behind their product. If you google it you will see that this was a widespread issue for this year and model that Hyundai refuses to warranty. To add insult to injury they want us to pay $3,800 to repair and are not willing to help with cost. If anything they inflated the price drastically as we got a second price for $1,800 from another body shop. Buyer beware!

This place has no problems selling you a car and telling you that they will fix it if something goes wrong. They want me to leave my car (it's the only one I have) while they fi a defective trunk latch. What am I supposed to do in the meantime? I was not given the option of having a loaner. I cannot be without a vehicle for 15 days. I'm a little upset and I may call some consumer advocates loke Clark Howard. I talked to a female and she attempted to transfer me to someone else, but all I got was voicemail. I need to feel like they will back their product and honor the promises made when they wanted to sell me the car.

Took my vehicle in for inspection when engine light was flashing. Appt was at 7am...4pm no one called me and when I called numerous and was bounced from vm to vm I finally demanded to not be transferred to a vm but speak to a live person. Found out new engine was approved to be replaced and they were working on loaner. Fast forward 3 weeks until repair was finally done and never received any updates until day of repair and never received loaner. Very disappointed in lack of of concern that I was without any transportation during this repair of my new car. Never would recommend anyone go here and I?ll drive out of my way to go to another dealership.

I've been a faithful customer for over 8 years and I'm not completely satisfied with the customer service. I've had a couple incidents in the past with the finance team as well as the service department. The GM, Jeff, addressed the issues and persuaded me to stay as well as other committed sales men, however, some of those behaviors still exist today despite the change in management. Honestly, I think there should be mandated customer service workshops for employees. If you need a trainer, I'll be willing to spearhead workshops.

The only time it started getting frustrating was when we were getting ready to sign the papers and the financial guy juts kept on trying to sell us more insurance coverage. I told him no several times but he is taught not to accept no as an answer, so he just kept on. I finally bought some just to get the process over with.

Received notification that my 2019 Hyundai Tucson SEL had a defective part relating to an "ABS Factory Recall". Contacted our dealership at AutoNation Hyundai Mall of Georgia, Buford, GA to schedule "Recall & Routine Service". Parts were not in stock immediately; however, within two (2) weeks the part was available and the dealership addressed the issue very professionally. I highly recommend the Service Advisor "Ben". He is very professional and courteous. The dealership addressed all issues and continued to provide the great customer service as in the past. Happy customer!

Do not purchase from here. I have withheld my review for 2 years giving them ample opportunity to make things right. They refuse to do so! I purchased a suv that had been wrecked with rear end damage, this was not disclosed. The car fax was clean. Clear coat pealing on rear bumper. Spoiler is loose. Cameron acknowledged and promised repair while I was shopping for my daughter a car. When I didn’t purchase from them he denied repair. My vehicle is now making a whistle noise while in motion. Claimed to have repaired after 2 months. I picked it up and it’s still making the noise. They refused to ride with me to confirm repair. Took it back, manager stated he would investigate and call affiliates in CA, would call me in 2 weeks! Never heard back. I had 4 miles left until warranty was up. Contacted cooperation, they had a manager call me. He said to take to another dealership. They refuse to help or make things right!!

I have a Hyundai Elantra 2017 and may of this year I took my car in to have my paint on my hood looked at because it was peeling off in big flakes. I had taken it to the dealership in Athens and was told I would need to go to a Buford. I called and made an appt. I took my car in and spoke with Dustin he took a few pictures on his phone and told me that someone would be in touch to let me know if f Hyundai would cover it so I waited probably a month and never heard from anyone. I called to the dealership in Buford to speak to a Dustin and he was off the receptionist looked in the computer and told me that my car was not covered due to the 3 year paint warranty was up but she assured me I would get a call from Dustin when he was back. So a couple weeks went by and didn’t hear from him. I sent emails to customer service twice and was sent a generated email telling me I needed to take my car to the dealership which I had already done. I called customer service and was told I needed to get back in touch with the Buford dealership. I called and left a voicemail and no one has yet to call me back! I have seen numerous cars same make and model as mine with paint peeling off. There is even a FB group name “ Hyundai peeling paint “ people have commented and posted pictures of the paint peeling off of the White Elantra! I have a basically new car with the paint peeling off that looks horrible. Hyundai will not take any responsibility for the paint defect! I posted pictures in the comments!

We had a great salesperson but we turned in a lease vehicle but were told we had to drive both vehicles home and they would issue check to pay off balance. Not acceptable so they said they would turn in Ihqve not heard this was done and need to transfer insurance to new vehicle. This is the only bad part not going to insure both vehicles when I do not have position of one. A little negative on this point. They bend over backwards to make a deal and Larry the sales guy is really helpful.

Keaton was a pleasure to work with. The only problem my had. It took six hours for oil change and put on new brake rotors. The reason was The first mechanic didn’t drive the car so he said it was the tires he didn’t even check to see if the brake rotors. Although I had told them that they were warped for the second time in 25,000 miles.

I took my car to the Buford Hyundai service department for problems with the electric power steering in my 2012 Hyundai Elantra. After dropping my car off on a Thursday morning at 9 am, I was called by service-person, Ben. He let me know that my car had been diagnosed and the issue would be approximately $1,600 (after tax) to fix. I should mention, the problem I was experiencing was a known problem in Hyundai models and was even recalled in the 2010 model. Because of these alarming facts, the nature of such a dangerous problem, and the outrageous price, we elevated our claim to Hyundai Assistance hoping they would recognize the facts, inequity, and injustice present. Further, during the same phone call in which we were told the price of $1,600, we asked for an itemized quote detailing the charges. Ben agreed to send the quote our way and elevate our claim to Hyundai Assistance. After waiting all day Friday, through the weekend, and into Monday morning, we were starting to get worried when we never heard back from Ben regarding our itemized quote and the Hyundai Assistance response. After we took the initiative to call, Ben was surprisingly reminded that he forgot to send our quote, but had already heard back from Hyundai Assistance - and guess what? Our claim was denied. During this call, Ben promised to text us a picture of the itemized quote he had forgotten to send. Moments later, I received a quote for over $2,000!! We were shocked to say the least... After questioning both Ben and his supervisor about these drastic changes, we were told "because you never received a quote in writing, we have no evidence that the price of $1,600 was ever given to you". One of the main reasons I chose to get my car serviced at a Hyundai dealership rather than a regular mechanic was because I was hoping to receive integrity and honesty from such an esteemed company. However, that was obviously not the case. Instead, we were treated with disrespect, lack of care/attention, and were lied to about price. I expect more from Hyundai and the brand they claim they are. After this very shady, and nearly criminal, experience, we decided to take our car to a local mechanic to get serviced. Here, we received nothing but honesty, fast service, and affordable pricing of $800 total for the exact same fix. I will never be returning to Hyundai (specifically Hyundai Buford) for a service or to purchase a vehicle. Further, I plan to file complaints with the Highway Safety Administration for neglect of this extremely dangerous issue. I hope this review helps other every-day folks avoid being taken advantage of by such a large corporation.

THIS IS WHAT SPENDING $40,000 LOOKS LIKE WHEN YOU BUY FROM HYUNDAI. We bought this car less then 2 weeks ago and got a flat tire right in front of their store. We thought “well aren’t we lucky! They’ll fix it right up for us!” Boy, we were so wrong. First, the guy told us that service was closed (we got there at 6:30 and service was supposed to be closed at 7) and that the manager can give us the address to WALMART to get it fixed. At this point we knew we had a spare so Phillip was like “I’ll just do it” Little naive Hillary was thinking “well surely these guys aren’t really staring out the window watching my husband change a tire when it’s 92 degrees and not gonna help” but I was definitely wrong. No offer of water or anything. We finally walk in, sweat dripping off our faces and ask for water.. but get this... WE PAID FOR A FREAKING GATORADE. It just doesn’t end... Finally, about to get the spare on and this guy comes out of THE SERVICE AREA (which we all remember was “closed”) and looks at the old tire and says “oh yeah, look at that you can patch that up.. just go to WALMART (again with this Walmart love) and grab yourself a patch.“ At this point, we can’t take much more.. but here comes our original salesman, and he says “wow, that’s a nice spare!” All I could do is look at him and say “you could’ve done better” (he just looks at me, like that meme with the guy who has a shocked face and a hand on the chest) “you see my husband out here working to get our tire on and you don’t offer anything or even come check in. You just got our money last week and that was it huh. Next customer, I really hope you do better” that’s when I walked off and drove away. ... but this ends well because thanks to FIRESTONE, they fixed our hole and put the tire back on for $20. All this for $20 Hyundai, was it worth it?

Terrible customer experience. On Tuesday May 12, 2020. I made an appointment to have my vehicle serviced. Oil Change, New keyless remote installed and a detailing of the vehicle (interior and exterior) I was advised that this would take up to six hours to complete. Vehicle was dropped off on Wednesday May 13, 2020 at 7am. We received a call at 4pm that the vehicle was ready for pickup. I surveyed the vehicle and was not pleased with the service I received. The interior of the vehicle was not touched or a poorly job was performed. I brought this to the attention of the service advisor on duty (Dustin). He surveyed the results and agreed that the service was done poorly. Since there was a service that was not done, I then decided to take a look at the other services that I had paid for. I opened the hood to check to see if the oil change was done. The service advisor took offense of this and ask me not to come to Hyundai Mall of GA dealership again. He repeated several times not to come back. He started the process of reimbursing the money for the oil change and the detailing. I was informed by the service advisor that I should have my money returned to me within three days. I strongly advise everyone to double check the service you ask and pay for at Hyundai Mall of Georgia. It’s a good chance that it was not performed or poorly done. Also be prepared for them to tell you not to come back if they see you checking your vehicle for confirmation that the service was successfully done and completed. I want be back!

Everytime I have taken my car for service, it has been a good experience. This week my car wouldn't start so I called and Ben answered and told me to bring it in. I was able to get my car there around 10. Ben texted me confirmation if my upcoming visit with his info should I need to reach him. Ben had started a ticket for me and immediately introduced me to the mechanic who would be working on the problem. I received a call about an hour later with a diagnosis and recommendation. I was able to get my car later that day all fixed and running great and I received a 25 percent discount! It took 5 visits to fix my vehicle. On the 1st visit, the service department workers left and did not fix my vehicle and left me sitting in the waiting room. If I had not noticed everyone leaving, they all would have left and not told me. The service department apologized, but I wasted 3 hours. It took 4 more visits to replace.my fog light and fix my radio, when it should only taken 2 visits total. Terrible customer service.

Wnt in for an alignment. They returned the car with a pull to the right didnt notice it till I got on the interstate 2 days later tried to contact them to look at it again non one would contact me. Also they broke my dashcam and tried to hide it . He explained what was going on and determined that my engine should be replaced. He communicated with me at every step in the process, and made the repair/replacement completely painless for me. I have a 2017 Santa fe Sport that I took to the service department. I will definitely come back for service. Dustin was my service advisor and he went over everything with me and was very nice and polite. The waiting room was nice and had drinks available if you wanted them and the restrooms were nice and clean. Free wi-fi which I didn't use but it's nice to have if I ever needed it. Thank you for servicing my car and letting me know that I have a good car. I think I do to. Never had a Hyundai, but I love my SUV.

I just purchased my second vehicle from them and I'm extremely happy! I expressed my needs to them and they surpassed it! I recently had to have my car towed to Hyundai Mall of Georgia unexpectedly and I had the BEST experience. I have been a customer of Autonation Hyundai in Buford, GA for a while. Recently, I needed to take my Santa Fe in for some service, and ultimately decided to purchase a new car. The Santa Fe was only 7 years old but did not have the safety features that the newer vehicles have. I had already used their service department in the past, so I will say that they are very devoted to the customer and the quality of work they provide. Every place will have hiccups, but it is how a business remedies the situation that defines them. They are geared to providing best practice service. This term is a quality term, and I have been in the business of providing this type of service to the customers in my chosen field, so I am very familiar with those efforts. Buying a vehicle is a time-consuming process in most settings. But it is what you walk out with that is the final determinate of worth. The gentlemen who assisted us were very knowledgeable, from sales to finance, they had a can-do attitude, and went the extra mile to make our experience worth the time. In addition, our salesperson Willie, took the time to go over all the vehicle's operational extras, so that when we drove out, we were well equipped to be out on the road, safe and without distraction. My husband is considering the purchase of a new vehicle soon. When the time comes, we will be right back at Autonation Hyundai, and will make sure that Willie Coleman is our salesperson.

I bought a car with Darrell and it was the most straight forward, pressure free car buying experience I've ever had. I went in to look at a car but then couldn't make it back in for several months. Even several months later when I called he remembered me. He and his finance manager Matthew were straight forward, there were no games, no haggling and what they quoted me was written directly on the contract(I've had a bad experience with a previous car dealer where they were dishonest). I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car from this team.

Had to bring my car in because it wasn?t starting properly (needing jumped a couple times) despite having the battery changed a few months ago at a different AN dealership I live closer to. For this problem, I took it to Autonation Hyundai, and they took great care of me and my car (I bought my car at this dealership about 4 years ago and have a warranty under Autonation up to a certain mileage/year. I also bought a battery a couple years ago which has its own lifetime warranty). They changed out the battery, ran a slew of tests, and were able to determine the issue- which thankfully was an easy fix. Thank you to Mike H., Eloy, and Aid for fixing this problem quickly and ensuring that there were no other issues involved!

I had some initial correspondence with their general manager, Aid, earlier this year in regards to a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. Aid informed me over emali that we couldn't come to terms and that my ask was a bit unreasonable at the time. I picked up the conversation again this November/December when I was ready to make my purchase (the birth of our first child delayed things a bit). Aid again said that we were too far apart on numbers...but he did tell me that he would beat any offer that I could bring to him by $500. I didn't think much of it...until a few weeks later when I received a near slam dunk of an offer from a competitive dealer. I touched based again with Aid with little expectation of him honoring his word...but...he did just that. He told me to bring in the offer and that he would not only match it, but beat it by $500. He did just that. When I arrived at the dealership, I worked exclusively with Jodi - who was absolutely awesome and the antithesis of what your typical pushy, passive-aggressive car salesperson is. She was friendly and honest and didn't try to up-sell us or pressure us into a deal we were uncomfortable with. I walked in fully expecting some sort of bait and switch...some sort of run around...or some last minute haggling by the dealership to renege on the deal. However, they did the exact opposite. The terms that we agreed to over email were instantly met without hesitation and even though we couldn't get financing done before the end of the day, Jodi let me drive the car home (I returned the next day to finalize the deal and set up payment). My entire experience was above and beyond anything I had expected...and honestly...no B.S....the best experience I've ever had at a car dealership. I cannot speak more highly of their staff - especially Jodi. She was friendly, patient, knowledgeable...and took care of all of our needs without us feeling the least bit pressured or stressed. She was the star of the show for sure in terms of my experience there, but overall, the dealership treated us kindly and gave us more than a fair deal. I'm normally hesitant in dealing with dealerships because of the typical sales games that they play...but AutoNation Hyundai shot me straight. They told me to bring my best offer...and they'd beat it. That's exactly what they did. If you're in the market for a Hyundai, give AutoNation a serious look and ask to work with Jodi.

I knew the price of the vehicle prior to going into the store, but the sticker price was different than what was online. The salesperson tried to assure me that their prices were ?no-haggle? and the sticker price was the lowest the car could go. I showed him my print out, then he back tracked and said maybe it wasn?t updated. I knew there was also one additional discount I could receive through my insurance company. When I asked about the price being any lower, he again tried to assure me that it was as low as it could go, so I logged in to my account and retrieved my discount certificate, making the price again.....lower. He then gave me a hard time about being pre-approved through my own bank. He ?couldn?t believe I could be financed for so much with such a low interest rate?. This is when he asked me to prove to him and the finance manager by sending them my pre-approval letter then bank had sent me. I informed him that I had no obligation to do so and they should do the contract and send it to the bank as they normally would. He then began asking me how would they get their money. I informed him that they would probably get it the same way they would get it from a non-minority male customer who had been preapproved. I told them at this point, that while I wanted the vehicle, I could also go to another dealership. Once we began the paperwork, he attempted to get me to sign some of the papers........BLANK! Needless to say, that was another debate.

Purchased 4 new cars here then my last one I used another dealership (because this one wouldn’t call me back) and have been trying to cancel my extended warranty and Gap coverage for a while. Drove an hour to get there twice and was unable to see anyone to cancel. Very disappointed. Someone did finally give me an email the 2nd time i drove down but that doesn’t “fix” the problem of no returned calls and not being able to get this taken care of. I’ll guarantee if I owed them money they would be there with bells on. Used to refer people to them quite often but, never again.

🤬 I've requested the cancellation of my extended warranty approximately 8 weeks ago. I was told by Stanley the financial agent that will take 4 to 6 weeks. I've been simply trying to call for an update or explanation where i am in this process. No one has answer the phone number that i was given or return my emails. If anyone is looking to buy a car and extended warranty this is not the place for you. Terrible service!!!

Per my cars Blue link my car notified me of my 7500 mile scheduled maintenance. I contacted the service and set up an appointment to have this completed. I dropped my car off the night before and noted on the envelope to check two other items while it was there. I was contacted that my car was complete so I went to pick it up. When I arrived I asked how the maintenance went and they said they did not do any maintenance they only did what was noted on the envelope. When I scheduled the appointment the service technician that took my information scheduled me for the 7500 maintenance , I did not mention the other 2 items. The assistant manager of the service department told me that It was not noted that it was there for that. He said the 7500 is put out by blue link and that I should disregard those messages and just do my oil changes at 5000 miles. His tone and demeanor was rude and disrespectful. He told me they would bring my car back in to have the oil changed and I told him I would take it else where. I feel like the service department should have notified me that this 7500 mile scheduled maintenance is really nothing.

I went to just have a turning light bulb replaced. I barely made it home. Computer system quickly began to shut down. Lost power steering and it had to be towed to another dealership. I have NO idea what Auto Nation did...the bulb is by the battery, which now I had to replace and they are still trying to find out what is wrong.

AutoNation failed as a company, but shone in (2 of) its employees. I visited AutoNation due to a recall on my car. Planning ahead, I called to find out the duration of the repairs, and was given an estimate of 1 hour. I setup my appointment online, which, btw, is a waste of time. The information doesn't carry over into the systems from their Service Managers. On the day of, I arrived 10 minutes early to my 8AM appointment, but was still informed that given the cars ahead of me, it would be a 2.5 hour wait, for the 1 hour repair. They open at 7AM, so apparently AutoNation schedules appointments without realistically taking into account how long each appointment is likely going to take? 2 minutes into my visit, AutoNation had failed the expectation they set on the phone, and I was mentally preparing to arrive 1.5 hours late to my job. Fortunately, one of the mechanics(?), Sar, overheard my frustration during the dropoff, and worked with Mike, my service manager, to expedite my car through the process. And I have to say, both of them shone in their grace, courtesy, and kindness in dealing with me and my frustration. It is for them, I might consider giving AutoNation another chance for a future service.

This was THE worse car buying experience my husband and I have EVER had. Saying we got the run around is not even close to touching the issue. Unreturned phone calls, sales associate not being able to answer questions about the process, what stage the process was in, etc,etc,etc. And this was AFTER putting a deposit on the car. All the paper work was signed two days ago, and still no car. My husband decided to cancel the purchase, and start shopping somewhere else.🤬😠

Autonation Hyundai MOG is an excellent dealership. I was there for routine oil change service on my 2013 Hyundai Genesis and while waiting found a 2019 Genesis G90 that I really liked. A very knowledgeable sales rep Darrell Coffey explained every detail of this well equipped vehicle. After a detailed test drive on expressway and 2 lane roads, I was very interested in this car. I scheduled a next day visit for my wife to meet Darrell and test the car out. When we arrived,the Genesis was detailed and ready. After many questions and detailed answers, we decided to purchase. The process was very smooth and timely. Everyone from the general manager to the finance manager were well informed, efficient and respectful of our time. A great dealership from service to sales. Service has always been good but yesterday, ( 8/19/19 ) I went there to get my oil changed and my front right blinker fixed. Today (8/20/19) I opened the hood and to my amazement I found the round plastic disc that seals the water out of front right light assembly laying underneath the hood. It was never put back on. I am very surprised that driving back to my home in north Ga. it did not get lost. Also the gauge that tells you when you need your next oil change was never zeroed out.To me the job was done very fast and was never completes properly.

Purchased my car the 7th of July, still waiting for paperwork to be able to transfer my tags since I live in Tennessee. Was told they would check to see where about second key FOB, still no answer. Navigation card didn't work, they were going to order another, have called numerous times checking on status and get a different answer every time. Bought a protection plan since it was sold as used car have not received anything on plan. I call and get promised I check on it and call you back and never get any calls. Will not recommend to anyone.

Took my Hyundai Genesis coupe in to fix a knocking noise, strong gas smell and the car when idle it seems like it wants to die and has when coming to a stop. They were very nice and answer my questions. They fix my knocking. That was the ac compressor. Flushed my coolant and changed my thermostat. The gas smell, they said it was gas cap and the change that.That cost $1700. After getting it back. Smelt of gas was still there, not even 20 minutes down the road and its very strong smell. The ac is not getting that cold, not like before. It sound like its already going back out. Just got in back. They didn't feel the coolant in the over flow tank up. Its bone dry. Parts they change have gasket goo coming out a lot of the sides. Thanks Hyundai.

I was scheduled to bring my vehicle in for three manufacture recalls, when on the way my vehicle started to hesitate and felt as if it was going to stall out. I called into the Hyundai Mall of Georgia location and told the lady what was going on with my car, she recommended based on my vehicle Vin number that I bring it in for recall and have the other issue checked as well. I currently work for CARMAX just a few blocks away and was pleasantly surprised by the level of service I received. This is the poorest run operation that I have seen. I also own a Lexus and have had the Auto Nation of Palm Beach do some service on that car and never have a problem. This dealership is different -from employees and service writers eating lunch in public at there work station, to not all service work being done in 1 visit, to "test drive" a car for 60 miles to check wheel balance, and never wash a car after it has been serviced. Now,not able to supply a loaner car or valet whe a car is due for service as they claim Genesis took all their cars. Yet this was a big point in the sale of the car and was advertised as such.

I have had service completed at this location many times and it has been okay... My car was one of those that had the engine lock up so I took it there to be fixed. The communication is lacking with the service advisors and the do not call back after leaving messages. I had to call the location numerous times just to figure out what was going on with my car. After receiving my car back I noticed they failed to replace a couple parts on the top my new engine... I called and was sent to voicemail again! I left a voicemail and have not heard from them since. I am not thrilled with this location but I will continue to do my warranty work with them... Carriage Kia in Gainesville will get the rest of my service needs.

The recall work and oil change went very well. However, we tried to get an update to the very expensive GPS option we got with our car. Even though we have had our car for over 2 years. The service tech said it would be 3 more years before we would be allowed to get an update to the system. This is absurd, because I can get an update on my Garmin plug in GPS every month. I asked the tech if an update was ready for the 2014 model. He said yes, but he then advised our car was too new to get an update. I see a problem here?

Bought a 2015 Veloster from them as well as bought a $1200 gap insurance and $2600 warranty. I traded the vehicle in before my term was over, I went to the dealer to get a refund on the prorated amount. I been waiting for a year and still no return. Worst experience ever! In spring of 2015 we bought a brand new Hyundai Sonata from Hyundai Mall of Georgia in Buford, GA. We financed it via autonation including extended warranties, gap insurance and a 10 maintenance service package. And the best thing we were told: the extended warranty is transferrable or we can get reimbursed at selling or trading in the car. We had to move to Kansas, so we couldn’t get 6 of the maintenance services because the closest maintenance service station - pep boys - is about 180 miles away and an autonation even more than 400 miles. So we called and asked what we could do. We were told to send an e-mail with the car’s mileage to the car dealer we bought the car from and we will get reimbursed. We did so - several times - and never heard anything back. January 2018 we traded in the car for a new 2018 model Hyundai Sonata Sport at a local Hyundai dealer in Kansas. The dealer told us that having the extended insurance, maintenance and warranties we should contact autonation to get reimbursed. In his opinion it should be several 100s if not even 4 figures. Since January 2018 we keep calling, chatting in on their website and sending e-mails to autonation and Hyundai Mall of Georgia. Meanwhile, we’ve been talking to probably 10 different people. And everyone tells us the same: send us proof of payoff and copies of the extended warranties and insurance and somebody will send you documents to sign and we will get reimbursed. We’ve done so, several times w/o EVER hearing back from anybody!! After follow up phone calls the people apologized and promised that somebody will take care of us right away. Even after a friend who is working as a contractor for autonation management tried to get somebody to contact us. Never happened! Now after almost 1 year wasting our time we lost hope that ANYBODY from autonation or Hyundai Mall of Georgia will ever contact us. We also found out that the people we were in touch with first are no longer with autonation or Hyundai Mall of Georgia. We consider the money as an expensive lesson learned and never felt more unappreciated and ripped off as a customer!!

In September 2018, we were told our 2012 Santa Fe needed a new engine. It had just under 102,000 miles on it so the Hyundai warranty had expired. In theory, the third-party warranty should have kicked in, but the company holding that warranty denied our claim. Our service advisor, Spence Westbrooks, filed our claim with Hyundai, which accepted it. Four months later, we got our car back with a new engine. Spence Westbrooks provided exceptional service. He went above and beyond what was expected. When we got upset in the early stages of the process, he stayed calm and understanding. Throughout the process, he kept us informed. He even came in on his day off (Saturday 1/19) to let us know our car was ready and to finish the paperwork to get us back in our car.

Over the past 2 years, I have had my Genesis serviced at this dealership mostly because of its proximity to our house. The communication with the service rep and manager was horrible and after my last visit which was a warranty repair for an electrical issue, they kept my car for over 8 weeks, gave it back to me twice knowing the issue was not resolved which resulted in my being stranded and having it towed back to the dealership twice, and at the end of the 8 weeks still did not have a solution. Although this car was under warranty, they could not resolve the issue. I ended up just trading it in with the known issue and moving to another brand all together. Hyundai Corporate also offered little assistance and insisted the dealership needs to handle it. Never will I have my car serviced at any Autonation again.

I HIGHLY recommend this Hyundai location and their service department. I did not purchase my car from here (I have been a Rick Case customer for years, service included). However, I ran into a snag with my Sonata last week. My typical team at Rick Case was less than helpful. When I called this department, I was put at ease by the Assistant Service Manager, Harrison Byard. His knowledge of the brand and overall courtesy led me to bring my car STRAIGHT to him. He asked tons of questions about this issue I was having so that he had all of the details before sending me on my way in a loaner. Within a couple of hours, I received the most polite phone call letting me know my car was fixed, ready to be picked up, and an extremely detailed explanation of what happened in the first place and what was completed to fix the issue. Usually, I leave service departments in a haze and have no idea what was actually wrong or done to the car. Not with Harrison, though! Again, I highly recommend the AutoNation Hyundai Mall of GA's service department and someone give Harrison a promotion!

They poked a hole in my drivers seat, changed all my stereo settings (Not due to a power loss or a reset), and the day before service I had the tire pressure in my tires increased because I knew we were in for a major cold snap and they let air out of my tires which tripped the TPMS sensors the day after service because all the tire pressures were too low. Now one acting up and I'll have to pay for a reset or replacement. I took my car there for a repair, NOT to have the dealership create problems to "fix" and generate money.

I bought a 2013 Hyundai Sonata CPO 5 years ago only to discover, when I needed a drive train repair recently) that I had no warranty at 80K miles (have paperwork showing I should have 10 yr, 100K mi warranty). Got passed from person to person, was promised call backs that never happened, FINALLY after 2 weeks spoke to Dustin Nelson who confirmed the appropriate paperwork was never completed by the dealership. We agreed he would add a 24 mo. 24K mi. to my car and he offered to pick my car up and deliver a loaner until it could be fixed. What he DIDN'T tell me was that the repair wouldn't be done until 30 days when the warranty goes into affect. After 5 weeks I FINALLY got my car back but with no paperwork reflecting the warranty or the repair work done on my vehicle. it took another 2 weeks to get the warranty paper work and another week to get the repair paper work. Today, about 2 weeks after receiving the warranty paper work, I called the warranty company only to find out that, after 3 MONTHS (contract is dated 7/3) they still do not have the contract from the dealership AND if I needed to file a claim, I couldn't!! Not only that, but I discovered that there is a $100 deductible where there would be NO deductible if it was the original warranty that should have been placed on the car in the first place. REALLY? I've sent Dustin another email, which will go ignored, I'm sure. This is the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a dealership. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, FRAUDULENT SALES.

The sales experience was excellent. I have nothing but good things to say about Dennis who sold us the car and the finance process. However, beware..it has been a headache ever since. One week before my temporary tag expired, I spoke to Nadia, the tag person who told me to get a 30 day extension and that I would have what I needed before it expires. Here we are 12 days before the extension expires and I have seen nothing but the runaround and misinformation. I call and ask for a manager and am forced to talk to them through a receptionist. I have been promised a call back 4 times and no one has ever bothered to call me back. When I called on Tuesday I was told that Gary, the sales manger said I will have what I need by Friday(Again through the receptionist). Since there was nothing in the mail, I called the tag office.The gentleman at the tag office told me that everything was submitted but the tag was not applied for. I will have to come pick it up and pay for it myself. I reviewed my contract to be sure I was not mistaken. It clearly shows that already paid for the tag when we purchased the vehicle! Why should I be inconvenienced, do their job and pay twice for the same thing? I was told it would be coming in the mail. They know they have a upset customer yet they don't seem to care. I can't in good conscience recommend a dealership who does not follow through once the deal has been signed. Apparently they feel you are not a priority beyond that point.

I called and made a appointment to have some things fixed on my vehicle. I spoke to them letting them know what needed to be done I also gave them the part number. I was to come 6 days after I spoke to them but unfortunately I had to change my appointment so I ended up going 15 days after I originally called. When I showed up for my appointment they never even ordered my parts!! Now it would have not been a big deal but I have to drive 2 hours to get to the dealership since it’s the closest one to me. So I wasted 4 hours of just driving on the only day off I get since I work 6 days a week. The only thing they did for me was say “Sorry”. Well sorry is not good enough to me.

2 months ago, when I bought my new vehicle in the mall of Georgia Auto Nation, I returned my previous Hyundai lease vehicle to them. And I confirmed I don't need to pay any extra charge including disposition fee. Even I wrote down those comment on the contract sheet!!! But now financial company is asking money to me to pay $400 for disposition fee. AutoNation is avoiding responsibility. They are working only until they sell their vehicle. I can't find customer care mind on them.

The service department kept me informed on everything that was being done. They had my Genesis repaired and available for pickup thT afternoon. Great service!

I purchased my 1st 2018 Genesis G90 and I love my new car. I had a wonderful experience purchasing my car from the mall of Georgia where my sales people were Josh and Q, they were young, friendly, professional and very knowleable. I can honestly say that I have never had a great time purchasing and negotiating the price of a new car. The experience was very good but due to the long length of time we spent in the dealership I would definitely recommend some type of food bar. After 6 hours of paperwork, driving and talking we were extremely hungry and as 7:30pm approached we were very hungry but had no way of getting anything to eat. If there had been a break where we could have left and come back that would have helped out a great deal.

This is my 2nd purchase of a new car, during the last 3 years with 2 different dealers. I see the experience similar and none of the improvement promised by CARVANA or TRUEcar,com's commercials have been incorporated into standard dealers practices. I am giving AutoNation a 4 - because in general, I am seeing better interactions with selling team, than my previous purchase. Finance team has also been very kind, which had been my nightmare in my previous dealer experience.

The entire process took several hours. It was much longer than we had hoped for, and had actually requested a day in advance for things to be prepared as much as possible so that we could get the process handled as quickly as possible. (We had a 14 month old with us.) Everyone was very nice, but it was well over 4 hours from start to finish.

The salesman was professional, kind and knowledgeable. We were there right at closing on a Sunday night to purchase and stayed well after closing to ensure we could complete the purchase. Only 2 issues to report: First, there were two packages listed as optional on the window sticker of the car so we declined those packages only to be told that the packages had already been put on the car so we had to pay for them. To me, there's nothing optional about that. We ended up working out a deal so that the cost for the packages was deducted from the price of the car, but to me that conversation shouldn't have even been necessary. The second issue was that the car was not thoroughly washed after purchase. Not a big deal, especially since it was after hours, but you could definitely tell it was done extremely quickly just to say they washed it. Overall, I was pleased with the experience and would visit again next time I'm car shopping.

This most recent purchase was handled mostly via email right up to the point where I had to come in and sign the papers. Very, very happy with the process and I couldn't have asked for more. I have enjoyed a great relationship with the sales and service teams for years and would not hesitate to recommend working with AutoNation Hyundai Mall of Georgia. Are they perfect? No, of course not. None of us are. But by and large they have gone above and beyond to make the experience a good one, both during the sales process and the service process. Service Center and customer focus from upper management and service advisors. Had a junction box taken out by the mechanic for inspection and they place it back in. I drove off and the junction box goes up in smoke causing malfunction to all electrical systems. Had no problems with driving my car prior to taking it to the dealership. Now the car can’t be driven and everything is being escalated due to the dealership not taking the responsibility for there actions.

This location has been great for service, but not thrilled that for a 2014 Santa Fe I’ve had to have the seat controls replaced already. Now, today, due to convenience, I am at another Hyundai dealer and being told that my 76k SUV needs both A/C hoses replaced at a cost of over $700. I’m losing faith in a product I felt very strong about.

On my arrival, the attention was prompt and professional. I was assigned to Josh Promvonqsa. He was very professional but at the same time made me feel comfortable to ask all the questions re servicing my Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. He even gave me a basic lesson on fuel injection system in layman?s terms so I was able to understand build up and flushing the system. I even capitalized on the courtesy ride to the mall. The drivers were very friendly and professsional. Paying out money is never nice but Auto Nation Hyundai in Buford, Georgia gave such great service overall that I did not mind paying ??

After dealing with the sales people here, whom I thoroughly enjoyed talking to, I decided to buy my car in mid 2016. Since then the sales team has sold my family 2 more vehicles. The sales department is top notch. The service department, not so much. They have constantly fallen short on customer service, charging for parts not installed not, (4 brand new tires), leaving other customers parts in my car (filters of some form), leaving their trash in my car (receipts for oil changes (considering my car was in there for that service, I have no idea why I would have a jiffy lube receipt in there)), charging for a cleaning service, and not fully performing the service, after bringing the car BACK, they redo the entire cleaning, only to have the windshield and interior still dirty (bugs in middle of line of sight on windshield, dash dirty from dust and debris), charging for services that I shouldn’t be charged for (tire rotation) all the way to the final straw, recommending services suppository already performed (a transmission service performed at 50,000 recommended again at 60???) Now I understand things happen, but this is ridiculous. I have never in my life had this many issues with ANY company before. They consistently fall short of hitting the bar of satisfactory customer service. I will NOT be bringing my car back, and hope that anyone who decides to use their services, takes warning of the issues described here. If it happened to me, it could happen to anyone.

Went in on Friday 12/29 to check out a CPO Genesis 5.0. Sales person Eldin was incredible, despite being a very busy day in the showroom he took the time to show us the car and the major features. Negotiations on pricing and trade value were (relatively) quick and fair. Financing was a breeze, easily got the term and interest rate I wanted. This is our third vehicle from this dealer and we’ll definitely be back when it’s time for our fourth!

I am REALLY hoping they do the right thing. I've not yet given up on them but it isn't looking good so far...After months of looking and test driving I bought my first brand new car here in 2012 based on their service promise. Darrell Coffey was my salesman, he was great. I was so impressed with his professionalism that I told everyone about my decision, within weeks a co-worker also bought a brand new Elantra from him (also in large part due to the lifetime warranty) I was blown away with their "LIFETIME power train warranty". When I asked how they can offer such a good warranty I was answered with a chuckle and the words, "Simple, it isn't transferable (original owner only) and most people don't keep their car past 100k miles, so when a power train failure occurs the warranty is likely no longer intact. Also, you have to keep ALL paperwork of service and most people don't have that which also voids the warranty requirements." It made me feel like the "warranty" was almost designed to be unused. I wanted an efficient and reliable car and intended to keep this vehicle for 200,000+ miles. I decided to do ALL my servicing at the dealer (crazy I know) so I could satisfy the warranty requirements. They are, after all, the official Hyundai representatives in my area. Although the requirement was an oil change every 7,500 miles, I chose to go every 5K, eventually I tried to lower that to 4K when possible. Visiting this dealership for service was even out of my way but I kept it up. I began to notice a revolving door, new faces in the Service Adviser and Service Manager desks, I thought about that but also rested easy because they are, after all, "factory trained and certified". If anyone was going to advise me as to the needs of my vehicle it would be the Service Advisers for my local Hyundai dealer, right? Anytime the Service Adviser told me that a thing was needed, I said OK and paid the price. (I opted a few times to change the wiper blades and cabin air filter myself to save some money). I kept ALL my paperwork and even started an Excel spreadsheet to track my mileage and service. I had my car "serviced" 25 times in 4 years at this Hyundai dealership and never declined any service package that was suggested. On 2 occasions, I asked to meet with the Service Manager to share my concerns of their advisers missing needed items and thereby putting my warranty at risk, I was assured that they cover all needed items to keep me in good condition. Specifically on 8/17/16 at mileage 119638 I got a routine service performed, oil change and tire rotation. When I left and went to my next stop I realized that they had NOT rotated my tires, even though I paid for it and the paperwork supported that they had done so. I knew this because neighborhood kids had marked one of my tires with sidewalk chalk and the same tire still had it in the same place. I then noticed that none of my wheels had any marks in the brake dust. None had been touched at all. I immediately drove back and spoke with the Service Manager, he apologized, took my car back in, and had the tires rotated, he then offered me a coupon for my next oil change. My confidence was beginning to lessen but he again promised that they were all trained professionals and that this was a one time incident. In early December of 2017 my car broke down (150,000 miles on the odometer) and left me stranded on the side of the road. I had it towed to the nearest Hyundai dealer and got an Uber ride home ($90 for the tow and $45 for the Uber), they informed me that I needed a new engine. When I began the claim process through the 3rd party (Wascor) I was informed that I didn't perform all my servicing therefore NO WARRANTY. Wascor said that I didn't do the recommended 60K service. My Service Advisor never recommended a 60K service. I requested a meeting with the current Service Manager Richard Dooley and General Manger Jeff Godwin. They have requested a "goodwill" repair from Hyundai which has been denied. They are now saying there's noting they can do to help me. They've given me a "discounted" repair estimate of $4700 to put a used engine in my vehicle, after which my vehicle will be "worth" about $4500. I have been acting in good faith for 5 years that the parties would be there in case of a claim. I've done everything asked of me by their Service Advisers. I've used the dealer for all my service needs when less expensive alternatives are everywhere, I've driven out of my way to do so. I've recommended this dealer to others which has resulted in at least 1 known sale. I've been told by 3 individuals in 2 different Hyundai dealerships that this situation "is not right" and that if "any customer needs to be fought for that it is me". Why am I left in this position? Jeff Godwin can choose to do right by this customer or he can choose to leave me hanging. A "discounted" repair estimate is not an acceptable offer. All I ask at this point is to be made whole. I had a working vehicle 3 weeks ago that was paid off and maintained to the fullest of the Service Advisers' recommendations. I have paid towing and car rental expenses due to this breakdown. I have not even been given any diagnosis as to what went wrong with my engine. Now I have nothing. I will be editing/updating this review as events unfold. Stay tuned...

Very disappointed. We bought a brand new car last Tuesday brought it home and it had mildew all down the right side of it. We had to drive to the mall of ga 3 times before they finally got it clean and they offered us a tank of gas (if we come there to get it) and an oil change. I’m very disappointed in the customer service as this was a huge reason we chose them. They told us the first time we would get a loaner and after waiting for 15 minutes with my toddler I️ finally asked someone to please get someone to help us so we could go and they told me I️ would have to go through enterprise! After my husband spoke with someone they got us the loaner! Very very disappointing!

My next call is to a lawyer. AutoNation has left me in a position of driving illegally in a car that may be re-possessed at any time. Over 3 months after my car purchase, I STILL have not received my registration information because the DMV STILL has not received a submission from AutoNation for the vehicle. They cannot extend my temporary tag longer than 30 days and it has long expired. My auto loan requires the registration information, so I am in breach of contract and the bank is threatening to repossess the car, even despite the payments I have been making on time. AutoNation Hyundai can't be bothered to return my many emails and calls BEGGING for assistance. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND MONTHS OF STRESS BY NOT PURCHASING WITH AUTONATION HYUNDAI MALL OF GA.

Last time I brought my Elantra in I made an app a week in advance. It took them 45 mins to check me in and another 90 mins to change my oil. This is typical of this dealership. Appointments mean nothing and you don’t get priority over walk-ins. The ONLY reason I have continued to come here is because I purchased a service plan when I bought the vehicle including free oil changes and tire rotations. Just like every other oil change we’ve had there, they have yet again wasted our time. Instead of the hours long wait for our appointment, this time, we came to get our final oil change on our maintenance plan today. Confirmed when we scheduled the appt 2 weeks ago we had another oil change left on the plan. Showed up today and were told it’s suddenly $40. Yes. When I booked it I was told I had one more service left on the plan and when I show up I don’t. Officially lost all our business. We have no reason to come back to your dealership and will ensure we share our poor experiences to friends and family who may consider your dealership so they don’t experience the same problems.

I took my Santa Fe in for 4 recalls which would take approximately 4 hours, so I decided to drop it off the night before & leave the keys in the drop box. It worked out perfectly, they were able to begin work on my car earlier than scheduled, which means I was able to pick it up sooner, so all was great. The service department was very efficient and hopefully I will have no more recall notices in the future! At this time, I am satisfied with the service I received.

2015 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid system went out at 11:45 pm while passing the dealership. I had the car towed in the next day and was told it should be ready in 4 days because parts had to be ordered. They provided us with a nice rental car, but 4 days came and went without a call from the service department. I called on day 7 and left a message. No call was returned. I called later that day and was told that they couldn't figure out the problem and were discussing it with the technical team at Hyundai. Car was finished after 10 days. Running fine, but there is a big dent on the window pillar on the driver side that no one mentioned... I called the dealership and spoke to the tech, They said to bring it back in to be repaired. That will be tomorrow, so more rental insurance charges and inconvenience. All in all, the people were courteous and working to sort out the problems, but a little more communication would have helped with the frustration.

i was comparing the Santa Fe to the Sorrento. I fell in love with the Canyon Copper color and all the bells & whistles. I got preapproved and received a call from Justin Stavish. He had the car fueled and ready for my test drive. He was very knowledgeable about all of the functions of the car. The transaction was smooth and I was out of there in a couple of hours with a new car. He also called a couple of days later to see how I was enjoying my new car.

AutoNation Hyundai Mall Of Georgia... Car: '14 Santa Fe What needed to be done: 30k mile service (fluids, oil change, tire rotation and balance, engine inspection) front brake pads and rotors resurfaced 2 small warranty issues (drivers seat quit moving and Bluetooth mic sounds terrible to whoever I'm talking to) 2 recall fixes Price: $550 for all. Not a horrible price but not good either The good parts of my experience: The Sales Staff (even though I wasn't there to buy they still showed me a vehicle that I may consider in the future). Well done, guy. The shuttle driver that took me to MOG. He is awesome! I wouldn't mind going back there just to talk with him. The bad part of my experience: I had to call 5 times to get an actual quote for repairs and to make an appointment. I had actually left a voicemail with one service consultant (not giving any names) but received no call back. 2 days later I called again and finally spoke with someone, the same person I had left a voicemail with, and he claimed no one ever told him to call me back. I didn't realize you have to be "told" to call a potential client back. Anyway, whatever. I'm 90% sure they did not rotate and balance my tires. There was a small off balance issue with the passenger side rear tire that is still there. If they had actually rotated the tires, that balance issue would have been in the front. They also stated that the Bluetooth mic was fine and tried to tell me it was my phone. I've used over 5 different devices and have worked in the electronic/ telecom industry for over a decade, I assure you, it's the car. The persistent push to have other unnecessary services done. I give the service consultants credit for pushing these services, as they are a huge revenue driver for the company. However, what about the people that don't know better? It ended up taking 5 hours to finish everything but that's just life. Overall, my experience was blah. I really don't feel like I can trust the services given. I'm still waiting on a replacement part for the drivers seat and when it is repaired, I will most likely take my business elsewhere. Oh, and, the technician left a can of Coke in my car. My car isn't your mama's house. Clean up after yourself.

In light of the negative entries I've seen - and I don't doubt their experiences were accurately described - I need to say that my experiences have been pretty good. I've had several experiences where they kept telling me that my front brakes were fine even tho I would have easily paid for a front brake job - since the car had more than 60K. As it turned out I went 80K in my 2009 Sonata before they finally said - yeah we need to do the front brakes. So I think they're honest and try hard. My recent 90K service they didn't try to sell me any more service than was in the maintenance book and the service was excellent. I did have an experience on a saturday when I had like an 8am appointment and it took till noon to get the job done. But that was my only hiccup. Overall I'm comfortable with 4 Stars, tho I haven't had a sales experience with them yet. ALB

A NIGTHMARE EXPERIENCE which still continues two months after the purchase! This was the most frustrating, horrible, stressful, experience I have ever had in my lifetime buying a car from a dealership. I should preface this by saying that I bought a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid from the same dealership about 4 ½ yrs. ago. It was not pleasant, but nothing could compare to this one. I am 68 years old. On Saturday, April 29, 2017, my wife and I walked in to the AutoNation Mall of Georgia Hyundai dealership to possibly trade in her leased Toyota Prius V for a new 2017 Hyundai Elantra. We do not live in GA, we live in Greenville SC, some 2 hours north, but since I purchased the Sonata there, and we were already in GA, I thought we would stop in on the way back home. From the very moment we spoke with the Sales rep, we told him that her car was LOADED with options and we were only interested in looking at the Elantra if we could get the SAME options. He said that was very doable. The main options she wanted were a sunroof, leather seats with both front and rear heated seats (as I have in my Sonata), and NAVIGATION. He looked up a car on the lot and priced it out for us. We told him specifically that we wanted to finance (not Lease) for 36 months with $0 down, and a payment of around $400-425 an month, and the dealership would pay the remaining balance of $3800 on the lease. So, we went to look at the car. I immediately noticed that it did not have a sunroof. The salesman said “Oh”. Since my wife was already interested in the car, thinking it was “doable”, she said she would consider doing without it. When I got in the back seat, I discovered that it did not have Rear Heat. So, again, the salesman said “oh” and again my wife said she would have to do without it. As she drove the car, we were both concentrating on the ride, feel, etc. never noticing that the car did not have NAVIGATION either. When we sat down to put the deal together, one of the many many managers came over to us and said they could not meet our financial criteria for this car. They asked us to put $$ down or add to the monthly payment terms. Frustrated, I told them maybe we could go 48 months with no $ down. Another Manager, Dan, came to us and said it was not doable even at 48 months for $448 a month, but he showed us an offer sheet that could get close if we put at least $1000 or $1500 down. I told him thank you but we didn’t have the $$ to put down. Then, the General Manager, Jeff, came over to us and sat down and explained that because of the negative position we were in with the lease balance he couldn’t do anything else. He agreed with me that we were better off paying off the balance over the next seven months on the Prius and then come back and deal when we had no car debt. I agreed,. We were already there for 2 ½ hrs. We waited for the sales rep to come back to give us our Prius keys and say goodbye. He came over to us with a smile on his face and said to me to write down on the bottom of the same offer sheet as before, and initial, the purchase terms I would accept right then and there. So, I wrote $448 a month for 48 months with $0 down, and the dealer pays off the balance of my wife’s lease, and initialed it. Again, he came back with a bigger smile this time and showed us the same offer sheet that I had written on and initialed, but he had written in big letters “ YOU WIN, THANKS!. So, we were happy that our terms were met (as we were led to believe) and began the purchasing process, and prepared the car for delivery. Then we sat with the Finance Officer (Matt) to sign all the paperwork, we discovered 2 major problems. First, the remaining months and balance due on the Prius lease were incorrect. The dealership was going to pay $3300 as the balance and not $3800, the true balance, leaving my wife responsible to SE Toyota Finance for the difference. So, we refused to sign until they verified the correct balance! When they agreed to pay the $3800, I got a note from them holding us harmless if the total balance was not paid. (not sure if what they gave us was even legally binding). They didn’t mention that there was a $350 Disposition fee when turning in the Prius that they would not pay!!! So we found out later, after the fact, that we were responsible!! Another problem was financing. The Finance Officer told us that the payment for 48 months were going to be $488, not the $448 that was on the offer letter that I initialed. Which, of course, I was never given a copy of in the final paperwork. Well then, Dan, the Manager whom we spoke with previously, came in and said to us that we AGREED to accept the terms on the original offer letter, totally dismissing what I was asked to write and initial. When I showed him the initialed offer he said to me that he had already told me earlier that they couldn’t agree to those terms, again, totally dismissing what I was asked to write and initial. So, yet again, we caved and agreed to go from 48 months to 54 months, an additional 6 months of payments……adding another $2600 to our loan. While I waited for the car to be delivered, my wife and the Sales Rep turned in the Prius to Toyota down the street, which was owned by the same dealership. While my wife was with Toyota turning in the car, she asked the sales rep if he could go back to the car and check to see if she had left any CDs in the player. He returned and said no. Of course, he was WRONG Again, as we discovered hours later, he had left her favorite double CD set of the Eagles, in the CD player. Gone, goodbye. FRUSTRATION, but par for the course. After 5 ½ hours of frustration, possible deception, and tremendous stress, we just wanted to get away from everyone associated with the dealership. BUT, as we got in the car to drive away, we discovered that the car DID NOT have NAVIGATION!!!. UNBELIVEABLE!!! After all this aggravation, the number one thing she wanted, this car didn’t have. After I marched into the General Manager’s office, the only thing he could “offer” me was to either “unravel the deal” go back to Toyota and get our Prius back, or sit down and negotiate a new, more expensive deal with a different car with Navigation….no other solution, take it or leave it.This is how you treat a repeat customer that has gone thru all of this? The bottom line was that yet again, my wife settled for using the Apple Play on her phone to get Navigation in the car. Also, we discovered last night, she doesn’t have Homelink on the mirror for the garage door opener!!!!! It just keeps getting better! What else don’t we have on this “LOADED” car. So, in the long run we settled for this car, and as you can read, I am still reeling from this experience because I no longer feel good about this car, this deal, Hyundai, and certainly nor the Dealership. I want everyone I come in contact with to know how we were treated by a dealership representing Hyundai!!! I don’t even know what can be done at this point. Hyundai has us “ Over a barrel”. Update today:: The dealership has not paid off Toyota yet…so, my wife can’t get her SC tag until it is paid. The Dearlership told us TWICE they sent the check overnight mail, but Toyota hasn’t received it as yet. Outright lies from every dept. in that Dealership!!!! Vic Sassano

Very glad good sales experience and I think we got a reasonable price. However, no service after the sale. Bought a new Santa Fe SE. Tried for over a week to get info on extended warranty and couldn't get answers. Finally called dealership manager who didn't return calls. Confronted him directly at dealership and he says he gets a lot of emails and calls and is just too busy to respond. Ended up buying the $1825 extended 10 year old warranty.

Just excellent from start to finish. The salesman who assisted us, Frank, was great. Open, honest and straightforward the entire time. Never tried to oversell or push anything on us. We were in and out in under two hours with a brand new car.

I went tonight with my father to go and test drive a Elantra GT. That didn't happen. I went straight to used and found one. Sat in it and went back to looking around. I sat in the icon and could not see. As I got out of the car a sales guy came out. He didn't introduce himself or ask how to help. I told him what I liked and said i have to sit in it and turn around to see if I can see. The sales guy makes the condescending remark that's why I should rely on the back up camera. I grew up by turning around and seeing where I am going. The camera is a backup. I knew what I wanted to look at and see. My father and I also found it to be very rude for him to play with a fidget spinner while talking to us. The whole time he was condescending towards both my father and I. We ended up leaving and going to another dealer down the street rather than continuing with an already rude and unwelcoming experience.

They handled everything as well as they could've. Only thing I would say that missed the dot is they didn't tell me everything I needed to bring with me ahead of time. Being an out of tower it was a stroke of luck it all worked out. Normally I doubt it would be a real problem due to the fact anyone can go home and get the things they need

Dan Newton and Justin Stavish went above and beyond to try and locate the vehicle we were looking for and they never gave up searching. Although it took 5 weeks to deliver, it was worth the wait. I was happy with the communication, the fair pricing and the delivery service. This dealership is focused on customer care and I highly recommend them if you are looking to purchase a vehicle.
